I have been making steady progress on the P-38 Lightning- (pic attached)- She’s looking real fast with those huge props.

Make sure and contact ODO at 348-4511 prior to starting model operations on the West Field. Also call ODO when model operations are complete at end of day.

Future Notes:
1) Keep in mind RIMPAC is scheduled 29 June to 7 August. I have yet to learn how much activity is scheduled for MCAF Airfield preventing us from weekend flying.
2) 2012 Air Shows are fast approaching- 18-19 August Pacific Aviation Air Show. 28-30 Sept “Blues on the Bay” at MCAF Kaneohe. Watch for more details on both shows soon. We’ll needs lots of participation from everyone to make this year’s shows a success.
